Mrs Dash – Ordinary to Extraordinary

Mrs. Dash. Taking my ordinary foods and making them extraordinary. 

Extra sauces, condiments, toppings etc. tend to go out the window when on a contest prep diet. Many of them contain too much salt, sugar, fat, or just plain old calories.

This is where Mrs. Dash jumps in. So many seasonings, from Garlic and Herb to Caribbean Citrus, the possibilities are endless. It can be used on various meats and veggies to give it whatever flavor you desire. It is also salt free! It apparently is so popular there are store brand knock-offs available that are just as good. Something else I like about Mrs. Dash is that she has a great website, full of recipes using her seasonings. Now, these recipes are not made with the contest prep diet in mind, however many can be altered to be contest prep friendly and I like to reference the site to get ideas for new recipes!
