Everyone always asks. What do you eat? How long does it take you to cook? Why do you eat that?
Well let me sum it up! I follow my meal plan from Julie. I trust my plan! I get to choose from a list of carbs, proteins, healthy fats, and vegetables based on what I like. I plan my meals accordingly. I make food for 4-5 days at a time and it never takes more then 2 hours. I pack in Tubberware like containers. My favorite meals include UMP waffles, hamburgers, French toast, and I am addicted to zucchini and green beans. I eat a lot of food – currently 1900 calories – that is a lot of clean food. My grocery cart is only filled with foods on my meal plan. I don’t waste food and always shop with a list, except for vegetables. I buy as many as I like. I would be lost without my meal plan, UMP, and my Keurig coffee maker. What works for me, may not work for you. But here are some pics of the kitchen…nothing fancy, just captured over the past several months.

A few tidbits behind the scenes of my kitchen:
- In my kitchen, you won’t find a food scale…GASP. The only food on my meal plan that needs measured is meat. I go by what the package says. If I buy a pound of chicken, I know I have 16oz of chicken to work with. I know this is a sin for competitors. Judge all you want, it is working.
- You will find no fish, no brusell sprouts, and no broccoli…GASP. I don’t like these foods and I will not eat them. There are alternatives that are just as good.
- There may be a week I don’t eat chicken…GASP. Yep, I said it, sometimes I sub in egg whites, UMP, Greek yogurt, and lean beef instead.
- My salt shaker is the big bottle (the one you are supposed to use to refill your salt shaker) I use an absurd amount of salt on my veggies…GASP. My vitals are good. I’m healthy. I eat very little if any processed food with salt, so therefore, I top my veggies.
- I collect UMP. I have accumulated over 12 at one time in my kitchen…GASP. Why not 13? The stuff is good!
