This healthy version of French Toast is just incredible! Love being able to have a healthy and still tasty
Serves 1
French toast Ingredients:
2 pieces Ezekiel Bread (any bread will work though)
1/2 scoop Beverly international Vanilla UMP
1 egg
1 egg white
Syrup Ingredients:
1/4 cup Walden Farms Strawberry Syrup (you can use preserves as well)
1 tsp Almond butter Berries for garnish
Instructions:
1) Preheat pancake griddle.
2) Mix egg, egg white and protein in small bowl. Transfer to a plate and let bread soak in it on both sides for several minutes while you make the syrup.
3) In a small bowl, combine syrup with 2tsp of almond butter. Set aside.
4) Place toast on to griddle and brown on each side.
5) Remove and smother in syrup. Garnish with fresh berries.
