Don’t let dark eyes drag you down! These easy to follow 5 steps will help you look bright and fresh.
1. Do your eye makeup FIRST! This goes against everything we were taught as young ladies…remnants of eye shadow can fall under the eye causing a shadow to form under the eye. Do they eyes first and take makeup remover and remove anything under the eye before applying foundation products.
2. Use a waterproof liner into the lash line of the upper lashes and keep the bottom lash line clean.
3. Use an eye base to neutralize out the lid before applying shadow. This helps keep the shadow on longer as well. (I like Laura Mercier Eye Basics $22)
4. Use a lighter toned eye shadow to keep the eyes bright, stay away from browns and grey’s they tend to make the eye appear darker.
5. Use waterproof mascara to keep black flakes under the eye at a minimum.
