https://luisfernandocastro.com/kc80rkc The holiday food train is here to pick you up! How long will you ride? All day? Or just for one stop? Thanksgiving is just the start of the unhealthy holiday food train. You can’t deny all the opportunities that will arise for you to choose to eat unhealthy. How do we deal with all the food, drink, and parties? How do we deal with off-season meal plans? How do we get that balance between being healthy and enjoying those delicious foods during the holiday season?
source siteget link This balance comes from within. This balance is the direct result of how you see your body. Some people deny themselves of those tasty treats, and have a feeling of negativity and some don’t. The people that don’t, know they are happy with their food choices and truly believe in the nutritional value that healthy foods hold. They understand eating those healthy foods are smart choices and provide nourishment for their body. Connecting the food with the nutritional value is key to staying on the healthy train track. If you do not understand the meaning behind eating healthy, you will never understand how it affects your body. It’s a balance between caloric intake and quality foods that result in a healthy body on the inside and out. If you don’t educate yourself, the end result will be mindlessly following a plan from your trainer, and when its over-you are back to eating the things you ate before. Before you know it, that old body is back and your pants don’t fit. There is another side; people who deny themselves the food like punishment. These people look around the room at others who get to “eat whatever they want” and are envious of their body. They think it’s not fair and they deny themselves of anything unhealthy or sometimes all food because they feel like they do not deserve to eat. This is an emotional connection to the food, and it’s one of the most destructive kinds of connections you can make for your mind and body.

This is the voice inside your head that says, “Oh what the heck, I already ate one unhealthy off -plan meal, so an extra cookie or two won’t hurt”. This is the one that reasons with the unhealthy choices you are making, and I hate this one! You have been on the healthy train track for a couple days, training, and doing well. So you reason with yourself and say-I will burn it off tomorrow during cardio, or I am in the off-season, so it’s ok just this once and you stay on the holiday food train! The problem with this, your 2013 show destination is closer than you think, and soon it will creep up on you. Before you know it your trainer will be increasing your cardio 2 weeks out from your show to get you to where you need to be.

So purchase your ticket in advance, plan those meals ahead. Enjoy your grandma’s homemade pumpkin pie, and then when you get home whip up meal 6-7, your UMP shake, and call it a night. Let that holiday food train pick you up, but make sure you don’t ride it for too long! see
