Here it is. My cake. No, this is not some perfect recipe. It is a quick, simple recipe that turned out tasty and fits perfectly in my diet.
1 small carton of egg whites
2 scoops of chocolate UMP (although any flavor would work)
1 cup of oats
Mix ingredients, bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Voila! Cool or serve warm. I bet this could be iced with some UMP as well.
It contains 510 calories from protein and 300 calories from carbs. I can either eat this in a day over several meals or split it into a few days.
Why do I like this? It is a sweet, filling treat! It took 2 minutes to throw together and requires no prep. It is easy to eat in between meetings, in the car, on the run, at the store…you name it.
I love simplicity. And, well as far as my foods go, it doesn’t get much simpler then this! It is a great feeling going to bed looking forward to your meals ahead.
