Well, the Arnold was in town this past weekend and what an outstanding event. It is one of the times I am so thankful I live in Columbus – the city comes alive, health and fitness enthusiasts from around the world pack the Convention Center, restaurants are packed, hotels sold out, and energy is everywhere!
I’ve been attending the event for years. Typically I am excited to get free samples, see good friends, and perhaps get some new apparel or the latest and greatest fitness fad. This year was different.
I got to enjoy the Arnold Amateur Figure and Bikini show. I actually had never attended the event. But this year, Team FITBODY had four amazing athletes competing. It was phenomenal and inspiring to see their hard work laid out on one of the most respected and renound stages! Pre-judging was held at Veterans Memorial and I couldn’t believe how nervous I was for them before they stepped on stage. Each of them rocked it AND made it to the top 10 in their respective classes. UNBELIEVABLE. Competitors came from across the world, looked flawless, and all had strong stage prescence. They are truly an example of what true commitment and passion looks like on stage. It was great to cheer them on with a group of the Team FITBODY family! What a night. It was followed up by finals on Saturday morning which was equally as exciting at the Convention Center. Congrats Team FITBODY – you have inspired and motivated so many!
It was also different this year because I realized besides perhaps a Quest Bar, I had no interest in samples of any kind or any fitness fads. I have no need for samples. Why? Because I realized I am 100% Beverlified. Yes, Beverlified – desiring to consume, purchase, and promote only Beverly Internationl supplements. Have you not heard this word before? Ok, there is a chance I made it up, however I am sticking to it!
What a fun-filled weekend! I couldn’t ask to be a part of a better team. I saw many teams, groups, companies their…but none exude what I feel Team FITBODY does. Ok, maybe I am a bit biased, but here are my thoughts…
